Current Volunteer Needs:
We are in need of volunteers for our event with Kuchta Farms.
**NEW FOR 2022 ANY TEACHERS WHO VOLUNTEER TO WORK A WHOLE EVENT WILL EARN $50 WORTH OF CLASSROOM SUPPLIES OF THEIR CHOOSING PER DAY VOLUNTEERED, EARNING UP TO $150 FOR YOUR CLASSROOM!*
We are needing to fill volunteer (21+ ONLY) spots for ALL THREE EVENTS.
These dates are Thursday August 18th, Friday August 19th, and Saturday August 20th
Due to the nature of the event the PTO had to obtain permits from the State of Ohio. Under the rules and guidelines of those permits LaBrae Elementary PTO MUST provide the volunteers for this event. If we do not fill these volunteer spots this event is in danger of being CANCELLED resulting in the PTO losing money as well as Kuchta Farms.

There will be 9 stations that will need AT LEAST 2 volunteers and a “by the glass” tent that will need at least 2-3 people per event.
We have broken the sign ups down into three hour shifts. We prefer that volunteers work the entire event but we also are appreciative of ANY help we can get with this event.
First shift arrives an hour early to set up and works pouring samples for two hours.
The second shift finishes the last two hours of the event and stays an hour later to clean up.
You may work a shift of the event and will still have time to experience the event as well. You can purchase a ticket to attend the event for $35.00 for those sampling (21+ ONLY) and $20.00 designated driver tickets (21+ ONLY).
If you are ONLY coming to volunteer and do not plan on attending the event other than working the stations you DO NOT have to pay. YOU CAN VOLUNTEER FOR MORE THAN ONE DAY
This event is a great way for PTO to bring in passive funds. No catalog ordering or pick up dates. It requires extra volunteers but provides a great opportunity for a night out as well as extra funds for the PTO that go RIGHT BACK into our classrooms and to our kiddos!
